MBSC Summer Youth Camp
Mission Bay Sportcenter is the largest public watersports facility in San Diego, providing Southern California with a variety of youth camps. Each summer, hundreds of young people from across the southwest participate in our watersport programs learning to sail, surf, kayak, wakeboard, water-ski and windsurf. We are excited about this summer! Come join us and experience our unique blend of learning and FUN!
PROGRAMS Mix & Match Programs. Individual classes are offered for one week sessions, Monday though Friday. Each class will consist of specialized instruction for 5. Campers may choose one class per day (half day) or a morning and an afternoon class for a full day schedule.
STAFF All instructors are drug tested and background checked. Each class is taught by instructors who have proven their ability and expertise in a specialized area. The entire camp staff is trained in First Aid, CPR and Water Rescue, making sure that learning is safe and fun. In addition the wakeboard and water ski instructors are Coast Guard licensed and certified instructors of the American Water Ski Association.
WATER SAFETY Water Safety is stressed in all classes. Basic Swimming skills as well as feeling comfortable in the water are a must. All campers are given a swimming assessment the first day of camp.
PREPARATION Be sure your camper brings the following items to all classes: bathing suit, change of clothes, towel, lunch/snacks, water and sunscreen. Some items are available for purchase at Mission Bay Sportcenter.

Optional Early Supervision - 9:00am - 12:00pm
AM Classes - 12:00pm - 1:00pm
Lunch - 1:00pm - 4:00pm
PM Classes - 4:00pm - 6:00pm
